Stirring high viscosity materials
Stirring fluids is a basic operation in process engineering. All DISPERMAT® stirrers have a high torque and infinitely variable speed adjustment. A wide range of stirring tools are available for different applications ‒ such as homogenization, emulsification, suspension and stirring of high‒viscosity substances. Depending on the product viscosity different stirring tools are available including standard impellers as well as close tolerance butterfly blades used to move high‒viscosity product away from the container wall. Where stirring under vacuum is required the modular CHS and CDS vacuum system can be used. |
