One of our biggest and most popular product ranges at Fullbrook Systems is by Formulaction, with their suite of Turbiscan tools and instruments. These provide research laboratories with the ability to improve and innovate their formulations, by providing simple, effective, and robust methods of material characterisation. Turbiscan technology has been used in hundreds of peer reviewed publications, across many different fields, including food and beverages, pharmaceuticals, oil and petroleum, electronics and paint and inks. The Turbiscan Lab is unique in that it is the first patented technology to analyze destabilization mechanisms in concentrated dispersed media and therefore the only one to offer accelerated aging tests on the native products. Using Multiple Light Scattering Technology, creaming, sedimentation, agglomeration, aggregation, and coalescence of highly concentrated formulations are detected, even at an early stage, without needing to dilute. To help evaluate the overall quality of formulations, a Turbiscan Stability Index (TSI) can be calculated, quantifying the destabilization with a single number. It is also 200 times faster than conventional methods. To discover more about how the Turbiscan Lab and Stability Index can help you with your research endeavours, please contact us at: sales@fullbrook.com or call: 01442 876777.
